Job Title: Crewing Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Manning Agents to manage crew schedules, rotations, and crew changes.
- Arrange travel, visas, and port formalities for crew sign-on and sign-off.
- Maintain accurate crew documentation and ensure certificates and licenses comply with STCW, MLC 2006, and Flag State requirements.
- Liaise with Vessel Masters, Port Agents, and Manning Agents to ensure smooth crew operations.
- Monitor crew contracts, performance evaluations, and training requirements.
- Maintain the Officers Matrix in line with Oil Major requirements and ensure crew meet charterer standards.
- Support vessel readiness for vetting inspections (SIRE) and ensure crew records are updated.
- Assist with crew payroll verification, leave tracking, and crew database management.
- Support internal and external audits related to crew compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in crew management within the maritime industry.
- Knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006, and maritime regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with crew management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Relevant degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with tanker vessels.
- Familiarity with OCIMF, SIRE inspections, and Oil Major requirements
