Public Relations Officer (PRO)- UAE Nationals Only


The candidate must have/be :

  • Graduate/Bachelor’s degree is recommended
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English.
  • Well versed with computer skills such as advanced MS office, Outlook emails etc.
  • Candidate must possess right working attitude and positive thinking.
  • An ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in Shipping/Maritime industry
  • Experience of PRO coordination and control.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor & Immigration/JAFZA rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Visa related immigration, labor; rules regulations and their procedures.
  • Experience in trade licenses renewals and related procedure.
  • Experience in trade licenses renewals and related procedure.
  • UAE  National only
  • Must hold driving license.

Job Responsibilities (But not are limited to the following)

  • Tracking of Residence Visa & Labour card expiry of the employees of all branches and liaising with HR for renewal.
  • Getting the medical examination done for all employees for the visa stamping.
  • Visa cancellation for employees
  • Assisting for cancellation of family visas, keeping deposit for family and changing the visa for employee.
  • Tracking the bank guarantee in the free zone and employee list in the labour department.
  • Tracking expiry and updates of signature cards in the immigration, Labour and freezone.
  • Tracking expiry and renewal of PRO Cards.
  • Tracking of any rule changes in labour and immigration and informing the HR on time to time.
  • Being available in for the labor inspection.
  • Physical actions for renewal of all branches trade licenses and related documents in consultation with HR.
  • Arranging visa for business travel for the employees traveling for business purpose.
  • Liaising with embassies/Ministries/Government offices/JAFZA/DEWA/Etisalat/DU/Police etc. for all requirements of the company.
  • Coordinating with Port and customs.
  • All tasks pertaining to court and legal related attestations.
  • Handling cash advance received for all tasks in a professional way and clearing the bills as on the task is finished with proper documentation.
  • All tasks related to Notary public attestations.
  • Any other assigned task assigned by the HR/Legal from time to time.
